Granby Celebrates Juneteenth event | June 2023

Granby Racial Reconciliation received an Arts Endowment Grant of $12,386 to fund a variety of performances at the 2023 Granby Celebrates Juneteenth event. This Special Project funding supported performances by local musicians including a full concert by The Alvin Carter Project featuring Kenny Hamber and Friends, Leonard Epps African Drumming, and the gospel choir Liberty Christian Center Praise Team. It also supported educational speakers and testimonies. The GEF was proud to once again be a sponsor of arts at this significant community event.
